Bake Sale Fundraising
Recently, the Children’s United Foundation has been fundraising through a series of bake sales. They have been a resounding success as we have raised over $900 in the last 5 months.
- Bales Sales Completed: 3
- Current Members: 11
- 2027 Camp Enrollment Goal: 24 kids per week
Upcoming Focus
With the school year starting, a main focus of the Children’s United Foundation is recruitment. Once the school year starts, we plan to reach out to middle and elementary schools to advertise this camp for the summer of 2027. Middle school students also have the opportunity to be a CIT and earn service hours for their help.
In addition to reaching out to middle schools, the Children’s United Foundation is looking for new members in high school or above. To do this, we are currently trying to become a club at Ingraham High School. This way we can participate in fundraising and recruitment events that other clubs do.
Ways You Can Help
- Spread the word: As outlined above, recruitment is a vital component in our success.
- Donate or get others to donate: We are a non-profit that relies on the support of our benefactors. To provide our services, we need money for insurance, tables, chairs, food, etc. You can contact accounts@childrensunited.org for more information on how to donate.
- Become a member: Nobody in the Children’s United Foundation takes a paycheck. We rely on the support of volunteers who donate as little or as much time as they want.
Thank You to Our Supporters
Thank you to everyone who has contributed through donations, volunteer service, partnerships, or advocacy. Your support makes our work possible.
Our Mission
Children's United aims to support low-income families by providing a safe, engaging place for children who can’t afford traditional summer camp or childcare.
