Mission

The Children's United Foundation was created by high school students looking to make a change. During the summer parents and guardians are often working while children are on break. Some are fortunate enough to be able to afford summer camps; however, this is not the case for everyone. Families who are facing financial stress often have nowhere to send their children. 

We want that to change. The Children's United Foundation is dedicated to creating a space for kids who can't attend expensive summer camps.

Seattle is the 5th most expensive place to live in the USA. We are indirectly addressing the financial difficulty families face while living in Seattle by offering no cost programs to the community.
